How to choose your child's homosexuality.
A large-scale study conducted by researchers at Minot University suggests that mothers who took thyroid medicine or diet pills at the beginning of their pregnancy are considerably more likely to have homosexual children.
The results suggest that the effect of the drugs is strongest with female babies and when taken during the first three months of pregnancy, which accords with previous studies showing that sexual orientation is decided during this period.
As more gay couples choose to adopt and raise children, the possibilities for them to raise gay children could convceivably increase. For example, if a surrogate mother agrees to carry and birth the child for a gay couple, they might request that she take amphetatimes or Thyroxine during the first few months of her pregnancy. Thyroxine would be a better choice, given that the potential for birth defects increases with use of amphetamines and diet pills during pregnancy.
